Born and raised in Texas, Andres Chavira embarked on a world tour when he enlisted in the Marine Corps. It wasn’t until 22 years later that he would retire and head back to Texas to raise a family. But he wasn’t done serving yet. Andres and his wife Celeste own and operate the JDog Junk Removal and Hauling franchise in Frisco, TX where he continues to support the local community with Military-grade Respect, Integrity, and Trust.

Over his 22 years in the Military, Andres was dedicated to faithful active duty. From a Heavy Equipment Operator in Camp Lejeune, NC and his first duty station in San Diego to tours as a Marine Security Guard at the American Embassy in Bamako, Mali and Assistant Detachment Commander in Santiago de Chile, Andres learned about hard work and leadership. He was then assigned Platoon Sergeant for Heavy Equipment Platoon 8th Engineer Support Battalion and deployed to the Azores and Romania before becoming an Interrogator/Translator Specialist. While Andres’ job descriptions changed, his drive remained the same.

A few years later, he was reassigned as a CI/HUMINT Agent. He served aboard the USS Saipan, Ashland and Austin as a member of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit where he forward deployed into Bosnia and participated in Operation Joint Forge. Andres also completed three tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and four tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Finally in 2014, it was time to move on to Operation Family First with an honorable retirement from the Military.

This new chapter of Andres’ story still required him to take on many roles. As an entrepreneur, he’s now dedicated to providing exceptional junk removal and hauling services to residents and fellow business owners across Denton and Collin Counties. As part of the JDog family, he continues to support Veterans by participating in the mission to empower Veteran business ownership. And in a way he’s an environmentalist by following JDog’s eco-friendly practices of keeping 60-80% of the items hauled away out of Texas landfills.
