1. Assess. Look around your landscape, shed, garage, and make a list of what should stay or go. List what areas need pruning, planting, replacing, and reorganizing.
2. Plan. Create a timeline for the project. Break up the outdoor spring cleaning tasks by section. Plan where new plants and transplanting will take place before the weather gets too warm. Make arrangements for yard sales or donating or selling patio items in good condition. Schedule any major patio repairs or landscaping renovations that are needed.
