I grew up in Thorp WI. A small town of about 1500 people. I was raised on my family’s dairy farm. The concept of a hard day’s work was not lost on me. After graduating high school, I joined the United States Army Reserves as a Behavioral Health Technician. I now have over 7 years of service and I am hoping to go for my full 20 years. Out of my family, I am the 4th of 6 kids to join the military. One of my brothers served Active Army, one in the Army Reserves and one is still currently serving in the Active Duty Air Force. My family has a very long history of service including my father, two uncles, both of my grandfathers and my great-grandfather. Not to mention numerous cousins who have also served.
I deployed to Kuwait from 2016-2017. While I was overseas I attended Ashford University and then later transferred to Kaplan, now Purdue Global, to pursue my degree for Information Technology in Networking.
I met Andrew Weins through a mutual friend and he gave me an opportunity to work for JDog while I was trying to get back on my feet after coming home from my deployment. I started out working on the trucks, just like everybody else. After Andrew and I spoke in depth about where I saw myself in a few years, he decided that I would be a better fit for the Operations Officer in Menomonee Falls. I worked there since January until we started talking about the launching of franchises throughout Wisconsin. Since my daughter lives part-time with her father and part time with me, Andrew gave me the opportunity to move to the same city as her and launch my own territory.
In my spare time when I am not living the JDog dream, I enjoy gaming, running, reading and creating charcoal drawings.
