Rob Reichardt was born and raised on the southside of Chicago and joined the U.S. Navy after high school. His journey with the U.S. Navy began when he went to RTC Great Lakes, Illinois where he graduated Bootcamp. He went on to serve on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt as an AEGIS Fire Controlman, received a commission through the Seaman to Admiral Program and served as a Surface Warfare Officer on the USS Sampson, USS Normandy, and USS Laboon. During his time in the Navy, Rob deployed multiple times to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Anti-Piracy Operations off the Horn of Africa and humanitarian efforts in Puerto Rico and the Virgins Islands after Hurricane Maria.
After completing 21 years of service to his country Rob made the decision to retire from the service to focus on his next career. Being close to home and family was always something that had been very important to him.
Rob knew he wanted to do something that would keep him physically active after Military Service and came across the JDog Franchise opportunity at a job fair during a transition course. He was drawn to the opportunity to own his own business, especially one focused on Veterans helping Veterans. The core values of the JDog family aligned with those core values instilled in him in the U.S. Navy – Respect, Integrity and Trust.
Rob’s ultimate goal is to continue serving his family, community, and the Veteran community and build something that can be passed down for generations.
